Find a Local Mechanic

I would give Zero stars if I could. I waited for 2.5 hours for an oil change which I had an appt for. They gave me some BS excuse about waiting for a filter. No one came or left the shop. The man after me got an oil change and was done before I was. Also, the guy behind the counter said I didn't need a tire change which I wanted. I know if my husband was there he wouldn't have waited as long as I did. We will NOT be going back. Every time we have gone in there..there are different people managing the place.

The manager and technicians at the Colonie MIDAS were extremely helpful and professional when they serviced my car. I required assistance with getting to and from my work and the shop several times, in which they provided concierge services from Lyft as well as their own vehicles. They made the entire experience worry free. I will be recommending this MIDAS to all of my friends and family!

The were great about getting me in quickly. I needed to be out within an hour and a half which they said was no problem. Filters are not kept on site. The correct filter was ordered but the wrong filter was sent. After waiting another 20 minutes, the correct filter still had not arrived. I told them just to put the oil in the vehicle so I could leave. The technician was nice enough to clean out the original filter first. The service is very good here. The only flaw I see is not keeping needed materials on site.

Took a long time but good work

Going to Midas has always been a good experience for me. The mechanics are very helpful . They not only tell you whats wrong but often show you. All I needed this time was a replacement bulb for the turning signal. It was done in no time and I was back on the road. Midas is my place to go.

I like the people and their work

The guys at Midas diagnosed the problem quickly and gave me an honest assessment of what needed to be done. I was notified at every step what was going on and when I could expect it to be completed.
